Architectural Casting Table

Architectural Casting Table

Hamilton Form’s Architectural Casting Table is designed to produce prestressed panels with an architectural finish. The understructure is made up of paired channels with stressing bars running through the channels. Load is transferred through the bars to the jacking abutments. The table is topped with a wood deck finished by the precaster to create the desired architectural finish. This design leaves the casting surface totally unaffected by stress loads.

Battery Mold

Battery Mold

Battery Molds are an efficient way to produce panel and wall sections vertically. Two stationary forms are typically built with a catwalk between them allowing for a safe and easy working platform to both molds. A soffit bolts in place on the support framework for the outside form to roll into place against while casting. After casting, the outside form rolls away for easy striping. Top-ties and underties spaced properly maintain critical dimensional tolerances. Soffits can be elevated on risers to vary panel heights. Mats may be used for almost any textured finish.

Beams and Columns

Beams and Columns

There is a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and complexity required today’s marketplace for beams and columns. This requires a wide variety of form designs to meet your present and future needs. Some of the form types available include self-stressing vessel designs, table and side form designs, and soffit and side form designs. Hamilton Form Company will design a forming solution to meet your requirements today and in the future.

Bridge Girder

Bridge Girder

State and AASHTO Girder Side Forms and Soffits are typically designed to be non-self-stressing and are installed between abutments at the precast plant. Forms can be a split design to allow use of internal fillers to produce multiple products using the same top and bottom components. Under form ties and top ties are normally used to hold dimensional tolerances. Multiple form section lengths can be used to adjust your required casting length as well as future bed modifications.

Casting Tables and Deck Slabs

Casting Tables and Deck Slabs

Steel top Casting Tables And Deck Slab Forms are being utilized for casting a variety of flat products by precasters. The size and type of product will dictate the type of form needed for your application. Forms can be a flat top design or can have one or both sides fixed for both self-stressing and non-self-stressing forms. Skin thickness can vary from 1⁄4” thick to 1⁄2” thick depending on your product requirements and preferences. Seam condition and seam position can be designed to fit your needs.

Cylindrical Pilings

Cylindrical Pilings

Piling Forms and Cylindrical Piling Forms are available in many sizes and types to meet your requirement and specifications. Square piling forms can be single, dual, triple, or quad lines. Piling sizes can vary from 12” to 36” in size. While these forms are typically designed for your stressing load requirements, non-self-stressing forms are available. Octagonal shapes can be designed in multiple lines if required. Cylindrical Piling are available in your required diameter with hydraulic actuated voids for efficient production and labor savings.

Double Tee

Double Tee

The Double Tee is one of the hardest working forms in a precast plant. Hamilton Form Company has more experience in providing Double Tee forms to precasters than any US manufacturer. All forms are designed for your specific needs in your market area. Forms are typically designed to be self-stressing for your required prestress load. Factors that help dictate design include product width, product depth, stem size and location, and stress load. Hamilton Form will design and manufacture the form that fits your needs.

Haunch Girder

Haunch Girder

Haunch Girder forms are designed and manufactured to meet the specific geometry for a specific job. A soffit is supported on a framework to hold the specific slope or radius required for the bottom of the girder. Sideforms are configured to the necessary cross-section throughout the girder from center to end to include thickened areas for load support. Forms are designed to overcome the large hydrostatic loads that are developed. Top-ties and underties spaced properly maintain critical dimensional tolerances.

Hollow Core Slab Pallet

There is a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and complexity required today’s marketplace for beams and columns. This requires a wide variety of form designs to meet your present and future needs. Some of the form types available include self-stressing vessel designs, table and side form designs, and soffit and side form designs. Hamilton Form Company will design a forming solution to meet your requirements today and in the future.

Inverted Tee Beam

Inverted Tee Beam

An Adjustable Inverted Tee can be designed to be highly adjustable to cast a wide variety of inverted tee configurations and L-beams. While most inverted tee forms are designed to be self-stressing, non-self-stressing designs can be provided. From a complex multiple configuration form to a simple single product design, Hamilton Form Company will design and build the form to your needs.

Median Barriers

Median Barriers

Median Barrier forms may vary greatly in height, width, and geometry depending on state requirements. Other design factors are permanent or temporary placement, tapered or transitional designs, and highway or surface street applications. Forms are generally designed to cast the product upside down in drafted forms.

Piling Forms

Piling Forms

Piling Forms and Cylindrical Piling Forms are available in many sizes and types to meet your requirement and specifications. Square piling forms can be single, dual, triple, or quad lines. Piling sizes can vary from 12” to 36” in size. While these forms are typically designed for your stressing load requirements, non-self-stressing forms are available. Octagonal shapes can be designed in multiple lines if required. Cylindrical Piling are available in your required diameter with hydraulic actuated voids for efficient production and labor savings.

Stadia Forms

Stadia Forms

Hamilton Form’s extensive experience in stadia projects can provide a competitive edge for the precast producer. Depending on the number of cross sections and the quantity of each product, our team can help determine an economical and efficient formwork package. Forms can be designed self-stressing or non-self-stressing depending on your needs. Typical designs include single and multiple risers, L-shapes, drop stems, and Tub sections.

Stairs

Stairs

Hamilton Form designs and manufactures a stair form to fit your specific needs. A fixed tread stair unit may be cast in a flat position with fixed or adjustable sides for width adjustment. If your requirements call for different and variable products, Hamilton Form makes an adjustable System. The product is cast on edge with adjustable and removable treads. An internal soffit works as a template to adjust the riser from 6 inches to 7 inches. Landings and throat areas on both ends of the stair unit are adjustable from 6 inches thick to 10 inches thick.

Tilt Tables

Tilt Tables

A Tilt Table is a free-standing, hydraulic powered machine that can be used to efficiently and effectively rotate flat products from a horizonal position to a vertical position. Use of a tilt table allows the use of less reinforcement steel while lessening product cracking. Any flat panel or like product laying horizonal with the bottom edge against the fixed edge support can be rotated for movement. The hydraulic system smoothly rotates the frame or table, supporting the product to approximately an 80-degree position to avoid flexure cracking when lifting the product for finishing or shipping. This system allows for a safe, easy, damage free option for rotation and movement of the product while decreasing crane time and labor.

Towers and Vaults

Towers and Vaults

Stair/Elevator Towers and Vaults are built to match precasters’ requirements. Tower forms are designed to cast a single piece box for stairs or elevator shaft. Your product requirements determine minimum and maximum lengths, widths, and sizes it need to expand to. Wall thicknesses are adjustable by moving sidewalls and changing soffits. Inner cores are hydraulically collapsible and outer forms roll back on tracks.

Vault/box forms are like Tower forms with some differences. Vaults will have a fixed core to create a 5-sided structure. Cores can have multiple chambers, slopes, and depths. Side forms can be rolled away, lifted away, or hydraulically opened to lay flat.
